Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children: a novel…by Ransom Riggs

This story was unique and the graphics were fitting to the plot and the characters. I really enjoyed it and have had some issues with finishing the second book in this series. Partly because this book was so fun and I couldn't put it down. I recommend it and still have hope the second book in the series pulls me in as this first story did. That's another review, though. I don't like spoiling books. Sorry to add my early conclusion to the next book in this series. (  )

When I first read the cover I was a little worried. This book was recommended from a friend. This book had me until the end. I won't add a spoiler. It's a favorite of mine and I have lent my copy out several times. In fact, I have just recently borrowed it out again. This book has a small town setting and Rebekkah Barrow has the destiny to fulfill and romance follows. Full of family secrets. Caring for the dead has a new meaning. :) I was easily taken in by the story and the characters. Wish it hadn't ended. (  )
